As The school year starts up again, the campus is buzzing with energy. Valpo has a new brand and changes are being made everywhere. However, let's get to what is really important!

The chapter is strong, with a tight knit brotherhood, and is determined to strengthen connections with you, the wonderful alumni. All the details are not set in stone yet for homecoming weekend, but there is a tentative schedule in the works. If you want information now, send me an email.

Rushees, Sigma Chi's recruitment process is an interactive time to get to know our brothers, our Fraternity; and what we do as a chapter, for ourselves, this campus, and our Fraternity at-large. We continue to expand our legacy as we recruit the most outstanding men on Valparaiso's campus and give those men the opportunity to get to know more about Greek life, the opportunities in Sigma Chi, and the potential our Fraternity can help you reach.

This school year of 2010 marks the first instance in what is sure to be a long tradition of recognition for leadership and scholastic ablility. The Sigma Chi Freshman Scholarship will be granted to one freshman male who completes an application and an essay, and is then selected from several finalists.

The application and essay are due by Friday, September 17th, and can be submitted to a representative of Sigma Chi or you can email it to iotasigmascholarship@gmail.com. Finalists will be notified by September 24th.
